Cándido is a Buenos-Aires-based artist, braiding juke-like sounds, EBM and cultural critique, with a personal touch of Krishna innocence. After a long carrer as a musician in the hardcore scene, a new time came towards a deep emphasis in live act electronic performance. Many many shows, in between the queer and the techno audience, made 2018 a coming-out year for Cándido as a fully electronica-oriented artist.
In 2019, an intense year in Cándido's production, two EPs and one LP saw the light, in fellow Banlieu and Soil Records.
Spleen New Beat and Kilos de Placer, Candido's EP in VTC are both sexy and dark, expressive and body-oriented music.
"The taut and kinky ’Kilos de Placer’ plays up strongly to New Beat’s integral EBM inspirations at an appropriate 110bpm pace with stiff, jagged synths peppered by daft whoops and sparing scratch samples nailing that ’87 DAF or Morton Sherman Bellucci style."

--The Vision of the Artist--
“Kilos de placer” es una especie de nitzer EBM latino queer que acaso sintetiza mi sonido particular, que es como un flirteo recurrente con géneros clásicos como el early EBM-industrial, pero con un toque de percusiones y samples, quizá mas sensuales, para mermar un toque la dureza típica de esos estilos musicales.

"Kilos de Placer" is a sort of queer latin EBM nitzer that, perhaps, synthesizes my most particular sound. I like to think of it as a permanent flirt with classical genres as early EBM-industrial, but with a touch of percusion and sampling, to add some sensuality to a usually harder type of music.
